Job Summary:
As a Receiving Inspector, you’ll be the gatekeeper of quality, responsible for ensuring every component that enters or exits our facility meets the highest standards. From examining shipments to collaborating with quality control and supply chain teams, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining compliance with technical data, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and Fleet Campaign Directives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the First Line of Defense: Inspect all incoming and outgoing materials for quantity, quality, and compliance with specifications. Accept or reject shipments that don’t meet standards.
  • Organize and Prioritize: Sort delivered items based on urgency or department needs, ensuring smooth workflows.
  • Quality Assurance: Open, inspect, and verify all delivered items against purchase order requirements. Reject and document any subpar components in the system and secure them appropriately.
  • Data Integrity: Accurately log acceptable items into the computer system and maintain clear records.
  • Outbound Oversight: Ensure proper documentation and packing for outgoing shipments.
  • Compliance Expert: Interpret and enforce compliance with maintenance manuals, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and Fleet Campaign Directives.
  • Precision Inspector: Conduct meticulous inspections on aircraft and components during maintenance or modification, ensuring adherence to technical data.
  • Tool Tracking: Manage calibrated tooling, performing monthly audits, and ensuring distribution to accountable managers.
  • Safety Advocate: Oversee aircraft maintenance activities to ensure safety procedures are followed, minimizing potential damage to customer or company property.
  • Team Player: Collaborate seamlessly with technicians and other departments to ensure quality outcomes.
  • Flexible Performer: Take on additional duties as assigned by your supervisor to support operations.

What You’ll Bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in stores/warehouse operations and unit inspections.
  • Basic knowledge of Quantum software.
  • Strong English language skills (read, write, and comprehend).
  • Familiarity with aircraft documentation and processes.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Bonus: Experience as a technician or inspector in a commercial aircraft environment.
