The customer is one of the largest European aircraft component service providers in the UK and around the globe. Have been in industry for 50+ years, trading, selling and purchasing components as well as offering MRO services for aircraft components both airframe and engine.
Recently, they have shifted their focus to buying whole aircraft (airframe and engine), for teardown, managing the entire aircraft teardown process, removing key components for repair & overhaul, replenishing their stocks for trading and selling on the ever demanding market. Due to this, they are in the process of building a storage facility in West Sussex, South of England.
This shift has given them a reputation for being the go to aircraft component provider. They service the commercial aviation sector, covering both Airbus and Boeing markets.

Responsibilities:
- Selling aircraft parts to market, including aircraft operators, airlines and brokers.
- Managing customer accounts, keeping customers up to date, and supplying efficient and cost effective solutions tailored to their needs.
- Responding to RFQs on the market (Requests For Quotes).
- Using Quantum software system. Keeping all records of quotes and correspondence. Initialising sales on the system and sourcing with purchasing when needed.
- Using skills in negotiation to agree business terms and contracts with airlines, operators and brokers.
- Freedom and willingness to travel to international conferences and meeting customers.
Job requirements:
- 2-3+ years aircraft component sales. May look at someone within sales from another area of industry.
- Quantum component control experience is a plus, but not a requirement.
- Target driven with an active and can do attitude, willing to go above and beyond to satisfy customers requirements, whilst hitting targets.
- Holding a network within aviation. Ability to build a targeted network for sources of business.
- Passion for aviation is always a plus.
- Up to date passport and driving license.
