Contentious Probate Solicitor - Cardiff / Bristol / home

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Contentious Probate Solicitor to join a leading National law firm.

The firm has offices throughout the South and Midlands and this role can be based in either Cardiff, Bristol or remotely.

The caseload would be made up of complex and high value Claimant and Defendant Contentious Probate matters. The work sources include LEI and private instruction. The work is varied and challenging but rewarding and the team places a high value on mutual support and co-operation.

Reporting to the partner in charge of the Contract Resolution Group the primary focus of the role is twofold:

• Management of a personal caseload of between 35 and 50 varied, complex and often high value cases, including responsibility for day-to-day client relationships; and
• Proactive management and supervision of a small number of junior casehandlers.

The ideal candidate will have experience of running contentious probate cases including a good mix of acting for defendants and claimants. Supervisory / management experience would also be beneficial.
