Duties:
• Work on a wide range of projects from concept through to completion
• Liaise with key stakeholders across the business, sales, projects, clients during all stages of project to ensure all contractual requirements are satisfied.
• Creating engineering drawings for military and commercial cable assemblies based on customer requirements using Microsoft Visio on specialised software
• Liaise with customers and suppliers to ensure that production runs smoothly and is delivered on time and in full.
• Support the production operatives during the manufacturing process with any queries and problems encountered in the build process.
• Production of engineering route cards including complete assembly instructions
• Utilising the MRP System, Factory Master, to generate bills of materials for production.
• Carries out such other duties that may be reasonably requested.

Requirements
• Engineering experience, with the ability to read engineering drawings.
• Design knowledge and experience using drawing software such as Microsoft Visio and HarnWare/HarnVis.
• Commercial awareness, with knowledge of key supplier of wire, cable, and interconnect components.
• Ability to analyse, find and present solutions to improve the efficiency.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Extensive knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn production processes.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to serve as a liaison with customers, operations, and suppliers.
• Knowledge of IPC620 standards.
