Our prestegious law firm client is currently seeking a Foreclosure Attorney on a potential temp to perm basis to start in January.  All applicants must be active and in good standing with the Maine Bar.  MA Bar a plus but not required.

1. Full-time contract attorney with 2+ years of experience in representing lenders in mortgage foreclosure actions in Maine.
2. Will need to physically appear for hearings, court conferences, etc. in Maine foreclosure actions.
3. Hybrid preferred (some days in Portland, ME office), but will consider fully remote candidates as well.
4. Candidate will work closely with firm attorneys and paralegals, and will have direct client communications.
5. Strong communication skills a must.
6. Solid academics and superior writing skills along with Maine bar admission required.
7. Massachusetts bar admission and/or bankruptcy experience a plus.
8. This would be a contract position to start, with the possibility of permanent hire.
9. We’d be looking at a salary range of $105,000-$120,000, depending on experience, if the attorney went from temp to full-time hire.
