An excellent opportunity has arisen with a leading manufacturing company. The business is looking to bring an experienced Manufacturing Technician to the Engineering team at a fast-paced manufacturing facility. This is a challenging role involving diverse work. You will be tasked with the setting/operation of CNC & Power Press Machines as well as the maintenance & repair of the same machinery.

Role Description

• Setting & Operating Power Press/CNC Machines while performing reactive and preventative maintenance on all machinery and systems 
• Working to company safety guidelines
• Ensuring the quality of production using SPC and following written SOP (Standard operating procedures) and RA (Risk Assessments).
• Achieving set volume production targets.
• Maintaining machines in line with preventative maintenance schedules.
• Reacting to resolve immediate mechanical break downs.
• Recording machine performance using the companies Smart Factory data collection system for measuring performance and OEE.
• Taking part in company safety, quality, and performance programs


Skills and Qualifications

• 4-year Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship with a Level 3 Minimum in Engineering - Must have 
• Power Press or CNC background desired
• Hand Mechanical Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
