A leading Manufacturing company has an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Team Leader to join the team at their growing facility

This is an excellent opportunity to broaden your skillset as a hands-on engineering shift leader in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The business is looking for a motivated individual with a track record of working to high standards, leading and developing teams

Role Description

• To Manage and Priorities breakdowns ensuring that all work is carried out quickly and effectively.
• To co-ordinate the work of the shift Engineers, ensuring all reports and records are completed correctly and issued within the correct timescales.
• Assist in the Performance management of the team.
• To Ensure the achievements of the Engineering KPIs and targets are met.
• Mentor and support the team.
• Assist in the development of the Engineering department to enable the business to grow.
• To ensure all Company procedures and rules are adhered to and issues are dealt with fairly, promptly, and consistently.
• Health and Safety standards.
• Food Hygiene standards.
• To ensure all plant and equipment are maintained and kept operational and safe.
• Quick response to breakdowns and its rectification, ensuring that all work is carried out in an effective and safe manner.
• Ensure all reports and records are completed correctly and issued within the correct timescales.
• Fully support improvement inchoatives and development of the Engineering department to enable the business to grow.

Skills and Qualifications

• Good Engineering Knowledge gained within an FMCG environment.
• Self-managed and able to influence others to gain their maximum performance.
• HNC or NVQ3 or higher in engineering with Supervisory experience – Ideally
• Good communication and IT skills
