Global QHSE Manager

Global QHSE Manager (BBBH6138) South East England, England

Salary: Up to £79,000 + Benefits and Bonus

Acre has been engaged by global real estate organisation to identify a new Global QHSE Manager to oversee a specific, high profile Agricultural services client.

Reporting to both the Account Director and EMEA QHSE Director, you will have responsibility for developing operational solutions to ensure QHSE excellence against agreed targets within the Contract. You will also be responsible for driving forward and implementing the companies QHSSE strategy in accordance with ethical guidelines and corporate policies across a large and diverse portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be the recognised focal point of QHSSE across the contract and act as the Global lead
  • You will act as a conduit between the company and those delivering operational support to the contract, acting as both coach and mentor
  • You will be accountable for ensuring management information systems are in place which monitors Governance  
  • You will drive, communicate and implement the QHSSE Strategy designed to deliver measurable cultural, behavioural and procedural improvements in Health and Safety performance
  • You will implement policies, procedures and management systems which reflect the intentions of the client in line with best industry practice (OHSAS 18001)
  • You will deliver QHSSE training programs both locally and across the EMEA region that will enable the highest level of competence across their regional Health and Safety Managers and operational FM community

You will have significant experience of operating at both managerial and operational levels across the EMEA as a minimum; although global exposure is preferred.   You will also have strong client relationship management skills, excellent attention to detail and appreciation of the challenges of working within the agricultural, pharmaceutical or chemicals industry will be highly desirable.

Key Requirements

  • You should hold CMIOSH with a relevant safety degree
  • A good understanding of the principles underlying a behavioural based safety culture within a large highly regulated industry
  • Be able to influence and facilitate at all levels within an organisation
  • You will need to be a dynamic manager and be able to lead a team remotely
  • Previous GxP compliance exposure
  • Previous, remote line management experience
