My client is a leading producer & supplier of food supplements across the globe. Over the last few years our client has excelled in the market place whilst still promoting the values that have got them to where they are today. With a multi million pound investment into the business they are opening new sites across the world which will open multiple opportunities for their employees.
Due to the increase in production they are in need of a lead engineer to join their site in Hitchin.
Role & Responsibilities:
- 60% Hands on engineering role – working with the engineers attending to Breakdowns / PPMs both Mechanically and Electrically.
- Leading a team of 7 multiskilled engineers
- Involvement in training of new staff and upskilling of current staff.
- Monitor machinery efficiencies and implementing any improvement tasks as required.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Experience within a Maintenance Engineering Lead/Supervisory role
- Worked within Food/manufacturing
- 17th or 18 edition is desirable
- Any engineering apprenticeship would be beneficial
