FLT Machine operative

Working in partnership with a manufacturer in Elsham, we are recruiting a reliable, hardworking FLT Machine operatives. This is a fantastic opportunity that offering a pay rate of (£12.78)

Shift pattern / Working hours

2 nights and 2 days, 4 on 4 off

Start date / Duration

The machine operative role is Temp to Perm position that will commence with immediate effect however, should you have a notice period with your current employer, we will work around this.

Job description

We require experienced FLT machine operatives who have a positive can-do attitude to work in our factory. The successful applicants must have experience in:

·        Loading and unloading of reels from machine’s;

·        Wrapping and Weighing reels;

·        Safe use of FLT truck, VNA truck, and hand truck in working area;

·        Segregating and disposing of waste;

·        Completion of end of order duties;

·         Operating a Bailing machine in a safe manner;

·        Operating a core cutting machine in a safe manner;

·        Completion of cleaning schedule documentation

·        Other tasks as assigned

The successful candidate:

To be considered for the position of the machine operative you must;

·        Have experience working in a manufacturing environment

• Willing to learn new skills and be open to new ideas
• Be reliable and have a good absence and timekeeping record
• Be a team player & co-operative
• Have ability to communicate, understand and follow instructions and have good attention to detail
• Possess a ‘Can-do attitude’, and be able to work to high standards
• Counterbalance & Reach licences
