My Client a well known Law Firm are looking to recruit a Learning and Development Associate.

Duties:

• Design and Deliver Training: Develop and deliver engaging training content to support colleagues across all departments, both in-person and virtually.
• Learning Needs Analysis: Proactively conduct learning needs analyses to identify gaps and opportunities, ensuring our training solutions are tailored to the evolving needs of the firm.
• Facilitation: Lead interactive workshops (face-to-face and virtual) to foster learning and development across the firm.
• LMS Management: Oversee the management of content on our Kallidus Learning Management System (“Learn”), ensuring it’s up-to-date, tracking user engagement, compliance, and impact evaluation.
• Collaboration: Partner with key departments, including project management, HR, recruitment, IT, and fee-earning departments, to create continuous learning opportunities.
• Evaluation and Reporting: Measure the impact of training initiatives using LMS analytics, surveys, and stakeholder feedback. Continuously refine programs to improve their effectiveness.
• Travel Flexibility: Be available to travel between offices (Leeds, Sheffield) as required, with the flexibility to work remotely after an initial in-office period.

Experience:

• Demonstrable experience in a Learning and Development role—preferably with exposure to both face-to-face and virtual training environments.
• Strong communication skills—able to explain complex ideas clearly and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills—comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines independently.
• Growth Mindset: A positive, can-do attitude with a passion for helping others succeed.
• Technical Proficiency: Experience with Learning Management Systems (Kallidus preferred but not essential), content creation, and basic troubleshooting. Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate) is an advantage.
• AI Knowledge (Desirable): familiarity with AI tools like Copilot or large language models, and the ability to support their use in enhancing learning processes, is a strong advantage.
• Emotional Intelligence: High level of mindfulness and emotional intelligence to navigate different learning preferences and workplace dynamics.

Desirable Skills;

• CIPD or equivalent qualifications are beneficial but not essential.
• Experience supporting the development of apprentices or junior colleagues is beneficial but not essential.
• Previous experience working remotely or in a hybrid environment.
• Experience using data-driven approaches to refine learning interventions and track engagement is beneficial.
