My Client a well established Law Firm are looking to recruit a Legal Secretary to join their team. You will provide secretarial and administrative support for all departments as required.

Main Duties:

- Audio/copy typing of correspondence and documentation (including court documents and leases from precedents) produced by fee earners.
- Preparation and completing of forms and ebundles.
- Filing, copying, sorting and collating of post, correspondence and other documents.
- Maintaining and reviewing departmental diary, key dates and appointments systems.
- Dealing with accounts procedures (completing accounts sheets, disbursements and expenses, billing etc) and administration as delegated by fee earners.
- Cover reception as and when required.
- Taking calls from clients and dealing with their call professionally.
- Undertake other secretarial duties as may be required from time to time.


Skills Required:

- Good level of secretarial, keyboard, clerical and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience of digital dictation, typing and/or word processing applications, packages, processes and formats.
- One year’s experience in a professional environment.
- Working knowledge of solicitors’ administration practices and experience of setting out documents across the range of subject areas.
- Assertive, articulate, flexible and co-operative.
- Self-confident in dealing with client enquiries.
- Ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
