We are a leading provider of full-service staffing and management programs for the K-12 educational market. We are currently seeking a Professional Learning Specialist to service the Ocala, FL area!

OVERVIEW: The Professional Learning Specialist is responsible for supporting teacher and paraprofessional understanding and skills around the company’s standards while providing high-quality developmental feedback to improve substitute effectiveness.

SCHEDULE:

  • Working Hours: Part-time Monday-Friday
  • Work Location: On-site
  • Travel: Regional area travel may be required and is covered by mileage reimbursement.

STIPEND:

  • $200 per five-hour training session plus travel mileage reimbursement at the company rate.
  • $225 (based upon extensive teaching/administrative experience) per five-hour training session plus travel mileage reimbursement at the company rate.’

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions.
  • Communicate and demonstrate research-based instructional practices.
  • Provide individualized classroom-based coaching with training participants.
  • Educate groups on individualized adult learning and adaptability methods

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 8 years master teaching or school leadership experience.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively.
