I am working with an established client in Bristol looking for an experienced Supply Chain Quality Manager.

Role: Supply Chain Quality Manager
Location: Bristol – Minimum of 60% on site working
Hours: Standard 35 hours (Monday – Friday, 4.5 days per week)
Salary: Up to £40 per hour via Umbrella - inside IR35
Clearance: BPSS & Clearance (completed by the business)

As a Supply Chain and Quality Manager you will work within the team led by the Lead Supply Chain and Quality Manager. You will be accountable for a portfolio of Landing Gear Structures suppliers who supply equipment to company.

Responsibilities

• 3 main activities: Supply Management (Where quality, time and cost are the main concerns), Control Supplier (ensuring flyable products continuously meet  supplier’s requirements) and Supplier Development (anticipating complex issues, mitigating risks and developing supplier’s capabilities).
• Strong collaboration with suppliers to ensure On Time and on Quality deliveries in order to deliver parts to all customers (FALs and Plants)
• Work in partnership with the suppliers to support their development
• Ensuring compliance of suppliers and products to applicable requirements with all relevant contributors Contributing to the Supply Chain voice in the MFT (Programme, engineering, customer services, buyers)
• Dealing with various activities in a constant evolving environment
• Dealing with external partners
• Discovering different manufacturing technologies
