Commercial Accountant

About the role of a Commercial Accountant

Reporting to the Sector Commercial Director the role of the Commercial Accountant is to lead the central commercial team in providing support to the project commercial teams and to the Sector Commercial Director in the financial, accounting and commercial administration of the business.

Responsibilities for Commercial Accountant

• Identify, manage, reduce and drive out unnecessary costs and inefficient activitie.
• Manage resources to ensure timely placing of sub-contract orders and payment applications.
• Maximize cash flow through timely submission of invoices and receipting of payment.
• Ensure clear and accurate reporting lines to the Commercial Team where necessary.

·         Has a high degree of understanding and working knowledge of all COINS

Offering £22- £24.80  per hour

40 hours per week

Key skills

• Able to adapt to fast paced environment / aptitude for quick learning would be beneficial
• Ability to multitask and work under strict timelines, with a flexible attitude.
• A team player with a positive attitude towards work and other employees.
• Must have PFI background and can support both finance, procurement and operations
• Rate advertised as PAYE Direct dependent on experience
