Our prestigious client, a leading manufacturer in their field, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. With a commitment to operational excellence and producing high-quality products, they are looking for a professional who can ensure the optimal functioning of their manufacturing processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and improve overall efficiency.
  • Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions through preventative and corrective maintenance practices.
  • Work collaboratively with production and technical teams to optimize equipment performance and reliability.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support the implementation of new technologies.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment modifications.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations and standards in all maintenance tasks.
  • Assist in training team members on proper operating procedures and equipment handling.
  • Support the procurement process for spare parts and maintenance materials.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Extensive experience in equipment maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in electrical systems, mechanical systems, and basic plumbing as applicable.
  • Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting and repair is preferred.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs and methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Awareness of Health and Safety regulations and standards within an industrial setting.
  • Possession of a recognized apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications in engineering or a related field.
  • Previous experience in the Food and Beverage industry or similar manufacturing environments is advantageous.
