We’re seeking an experienced and results driven Production Manager to join our dynamic Client. As a key member of the management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation / manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities include:
- Optimize production operations to meet sales demands while minimising costs and maximising asset utilisation
- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of customer orders
- Monitor and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to increase asset utilisation and reduce downtime
- Support the general management of the plant as needed
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to drive business growth
- Ensure a safe working environment for all site staff, with a strong focus on health and safety
- Develop and maintain a clear understanding of operational performance metrics and ensure all site KPIs are up-to-date
- Work closely with production planning, supply chain, commercial, and technical teams to ensure seamless communication and information flow
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance overall business performance
- Manage the training, discipline, and appraisal processes for the Manufacturing team
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in a production management or similar role
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations
- Proven track record of improving production efficiency, reducing costs and increasing customer satisfaction
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- IOSH or similar health and safety qualification

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
