Business Intelligence Specialist
- Location: Bilthoven – Hybrid/remote working options available
- Duration: INITIAL 10 Months – Likely to be extended
- Full time Freelance contract - 8 hours per day 5 days per week
- Dutch speaking business environment (NECESSITY FOR APPLICATION TO PROGRESS).
- Start date is as soon as candidate can be available.
- €80 - €100/ Hour (Dependant on Experience)
My Netherlands based, Public Sector client are currently in the market for an Business Intelligence Specialist.
Recently, the Business Intelligence service was set up, consisting of data integration (including data virtualisation) and data visualisation. For data integration, the TIBCO Data Virtualization software was chosen. Power BI is used for data visualization. In the future, it can be expanded with other tooling (eg. R shiny). In this role you will talk to users and other stakeholders and map out the information needs. You translate these issues into user-friendly insights in reports and dashboards.
Job Requirements:
- Number of years of relevant work experience
- Technical experience in setting up data flows, setting up ETL processes and cleaning data.
- Experience with SQL
- Knowledge of data modelling (relational, dimensional)
- Broader knowledge and experience with R and/or Python
- Affinity with public health care and/or environmental issues
Job Description:
- In conversation with end users and other stakeholders to map out information needs
- Translating issues into user-friendly insights in reports and dashboards,
- Guide the users to start using the dashboards,
- Managing various virtualization and visualization environments for customers
- Coordinate with colleagues responsible for managing the servers and databases.
- Support the product owner in the further development and professionalization of the service.
