IT Project Manager

IT Project Manager (AW1510) Oxfordshire, England

Salary: GBP400 - GBP500 per day

Role: IT Project Manager – Outside IR35

Location: North Oxfordshire / Hybrid

Salary: £400 - £500 per day

Role Purpose: You will act as eyes, ears, heart, arms and legs of the Slipstream Program to deliver  the  Microsoft 365 tenant migration to a group tenant and associated project deliverables (Cyber security uplift etc).
Acting as a single point of contact for all Program and Communication related activities from all UK stakeholders. You will coordinate, support and drive forwards program or workstream activities that are reliant on UK based project resources, consultants and participants whilst ensuring project deliverables are achieved on-time and in budget.

 

Operational Duties:

  • Support day-to-day infrastructure operations and tasks relating to the Microsoft 365 environment including Entra ID, MS Exchange, MS Teams/SharePoint back end, MS Purview etc.
  • Support and work with colleagues in the Operations and Infrastructure team to manage on-premise hosted services including (but not limited to) Active Directory, Windows servers and various storage solutions/technologies
  • Action and resolve incident and service request tickets escalated by the service desk to the infrastructure team.
  • Support the internal integration project with group MS tenant as required and act as a backup for the project technical lead (UK) as/when required.
  • Work with the UK IT team and business stakeholders to scope and design outcomes from inception to delivery to meet business goals/milestones.
  • Ensure all existing and new IT Infrastructure solutions are practical, affordable, innovative, and work within the operational requirements of the wider IT systems.

Qualifications & Experience:

Mandatory

  • Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS)
  • In depth knowledge of M365 tenants and all associated services/technologies.
  • Demonstratable experience working in a similar role
  • Understanding of cyber security policies (on-prem, cloud and EUDs)
  • Collaborative, consultative, resourceful, creative problem-solving.
  • Ability to work well with others, and the ability to work autonomously
  • Ready to learn new skills
  • Ability to adapt working style and focus on high-value activities to meet stretch targets
  • Ready to support other team members as required
