My Client is a charitable organisation, they raise money and encourage reuse and recycling through their nationwide network of retail stores.

SCOPE OF ROLE:
As the Retail Manager you’ll be responsible for maximising the donations. You will be the driving force behind the shopping and donating experience that all our customers and donors receive. You’ll lead from the front to maximise performance and make sure the whole operation runs like clockwork.
KEY ATTRIBUTES:
• Team leader with ability to use own initiative
• Warm, friendly and engaging personality with a good sense of humour
• An energy and enthusiasm to succeed
• Confident and articulate when speaking to customers
• Ability to carry manual handling duties on a daily basis
DESIRABLE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience in a customer facing role
• Previous experience of managing people
• Previous experience of retail
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
• Achieve all performance, operational and customer satisfaction targets, KPI’s and
financial budgets, taking action when required
• To actively support and contribute to company projects and initiatives
• Recruit and maintain a regular bank of skilled and general volunteers
• To build relationships in the local area with our Charity shops, local businesses
and all other organisations
• Actively promote and achieve Gift Aid targets
• Deliver agreed donation levels for both quantity and quality
