About the role
Our Australasian division – which operates pathway colleges, ELICOS and university campuses in Australia and overseas – is developing a new team to support and grow our domestic sales. The primary focus will be our pathway colleges which are mostly located on-campus with university partners and provide alternative routes to study. The Course Advisors will work with existing college-based colleagues to drive increased student recruitment.
The Course Advisors will engage with prospective students via a range of channels (including telephone, email and chat) to provide them with relevant course information – establishing and managing service-oriented relationships that lead to increased enrolments.
These roles are based in our Brisbane office, and co-located with an existing sales team within our Careers and Industry division.
What are we looking for
- Interest or experience within a phone-based sales environment with demonstrated achievement of sales KPIs, preferably within the education sector;
- You take ownership of tasks and can convert opportunities
- You understand sales and service systems, preferably including previous use of Salesforce CRM or the willingness to learn
- You have strong interpersonal skills
- Motivated and passionate about sales with a keen interest in education
- You are committed to personal excellence and achievement of targets
- Independently driven but able to work effectively in a team environment with shared goals
- Willingness to embrace change within a dynamic environment of systems, processes and personnel responsibilities.
