We are seeking a Junior Revit Technician to support our medical equipment planning team by developing and maintaining Revit-based drawings for healthcare projects. This role involves creating accurate equipment placement drawings, coordinating with clients and vendors, and managing Revit families to align with project specifications. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of Revit, AutoCAD, and building information modeling (BIM) with a keen eye for detail and collaboration.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop equipment placement drawings in Revit, reflecting equipment specified in the medical equipment list.
  • Attend client and user group meetings (both in-person and virtual) to update drawings in real-time.
  • Update Revit to ensure compliance with project-specific details.
  • Build custom Revit families when existing families are unavailable.
  • Provide AutoCAD backgrounds to vendors for coordination of site-specific drawings.
  • Participate in the QA/QC process, reconciling the equipment list with drawings.
  • Conduct project site visits as required to verify existing conditions and project needs.
  • Maintain ongoing drawing coordination throughout the design and construction phases.
  • Stay updated with industry trends by attending conferences, seminars, and trade shows.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Technology, Drafting, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Software Proficiency:
  • Strong experience with Revit (BIM modeling and family creation).
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with Navisworks, SketchUp, or other visualization tools is a plus.

Technical Skills:

  • Understanding of medical equipment planning, MEP coordination, and architectural layouts.
  • Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work within strict project timelines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proactive problem-solving and ability to adapt to fast-paced project demands.

Preferred Experience:

  • 1+ years of experience working with Revit and AutoCAD in an architectural, engineering, construction, or medical equipment planning environment.
  • Exposure to healthcare facility design or medical equipment planning is a plus.
  • Experience with BIM coordination is an advantage.
