ABOUT THE COMPANY.

We are working with a very successful company who have the license to manufacture, distribute and sell products that are associated with some of Australia's favourite sports, TV shows and artists. The company partner with large retailers such as Big W, Kmart, Target etc. and also operate a network of their own retail stores nationally.

The company are currently searching for an Accountant to join their business, in a role that reports directly into the Financial Controller who has had a longstanding tenure within the company. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who would enjoy working in an environment surrounding themselves with great brands.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE.

• Ensure integrity of chart of accounts and trial balance
• Conduct intercompany transactions for multiple entities as part of the group
• Preparation of monthly journals
• Submission of quarterly BAS
• Conduct costing for stock valuations and associated variance analysis

SKILLS + EXPERIENCE.

• Professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA or similar) is essential
• 3+ years accounting experience
• Retail/wholesale industry experience highly regarded 
• Large ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics etc.)
• FX transaction/processing experience preferred
• Experience with Apparel21 software favourable
