ABOUT THE COMPANY

We are partnering with a leading national retail business to find a Management Accountant to support financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis across multiple entities. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded accountant to step into a business partnering role within a fast-paced, multi-site retail environment.

Working closely with the GM Finance – Retail, you will play a key role in providing accurate financial insights to senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business priorities and driving performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Preparing and reviewing monthly financial results against budgets and forecasts, providing insights to stakeholders
• Developing and maintaining financial forecasts and seasonal budgets
• Performing month-end processes, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting with financial reporting and analysis to support senior executives in driving profitability
• Contributing to strategic projects and ad-hoc reporting as required
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function

SKILLS + EXPERIENCE

• CA/CPA qualified (or currently studying) with 3-5 years of experience
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data to provide commercial insights
• Excellent communication skills with confidence in dealing with senior stakeholders
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performing environment
• Strong Excel skills, with TM1 experience being an advantage
• Prior experience in retail or a multi-site environment is desirable but not essential
