Our client is currently undergoing a significant transformation in both data and business operations. In your role as the Lead Analyst | Business Intelligence & Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in advancing their Data and Analytics team. This will encompass overseeing the enhancement, upkeep, and optimization of their data visualization and analytics capabilities.
Your experience should include a solid grounding in data warehousing and data lakes, complemented by extensive expertise in generating valuable insights through advanced visualizations and analytics techniques. Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the development and execution of the Data Strategy. This entails actively participating in governance efforts, shaping data models, and championing best practices in data visualization and predictive analytics.
You will be involved in:
- Partner with the business to understand problems
- Communicate with stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate information and constantly improve the data quality environment.
- Partner with technology peers on data requirements needed to support the build of both reporting and analytics,
- Identify system requirements to ensure we use data, to enhance business decision making or simplify processing.
- Responsible for creating a continuous improvement process,
- Lead and/or influence our vendor partners
- Coach and develop the business, increasing literacy and use of data in the ways we work.
- Contribute to strategy and provide execution alignment through projects to technology and architectural standards.
Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of analytics/business intelligence experience
- Expert knowledge of SQL
- Expert visualisation skills, ideally in Tableau and/or Power BI
- Some skills in predictive analytics (i.e decision trees, regression, neural net)is an advantage
- Experience with Python is an advantage.
- Experience contributing to technical architectures, concepts, use-cases and designs
- Experience working within an Agile Frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Working knowledge of Cloud environments are desirable, including Azure, Google or AWS
- Demonstratable ability in predictive analytics technologies and principles are desirable.
- Ability to adapt, thrive and deliver in a changing and evolving organisation.
