Our prestigous client based in Kidlington are looking for a Workshop Machinist to join their team on a contract basis.  

Job Responsibilities:

• Manufacture of machined components using CNC and NC equipment from a wide selection of materials,
• Liaising with the appropriate Team Leader to deliver products to the agreed schedule,
• Maintaining accurate and traceable records,
• Ensuring strict adherence to company quality standards,
• Using computerised systems to maintain CAD data integrity,
• Comply with all Health, Safety and Environmental guidance and regulations,
• Take ownership of the manufacturing area and associated products,
• Drive continuous improvement activities,
• Reporting issues within the work area and resolving them where appropriate,
• Maintaining the working area to acceptable cleanliness and safety standards,
• Work on other programmes and sites as required by the business,
• Support the business in any reasonable way as required,

• The job holder may be expected to travel worldwide to support programmes when required by the business,

Experience & Qualifications:

• Job holder must possess a suitable manufacturing qualification or equivalent experience,
• Experience of working in a mechanical environment is advantageous,
• Good working knowledge of proprietary PC software e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint,

• Holding a current driving licence would be advantageous,

Salary -

• £16.00 -£21.00 per hour DEO

Working Hours-

• Monday to Friday- 08:00 - 17:00
