Are you an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor / Site Surveyor who is looking for the next step in your career working for a leading Tier 1 Contractor?
Fawkes And Reece are proud to be working along side a highly regarded Tier 1 contractor recruiting for an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor / Site Surveyor working on a large £8m project. This is a rare opportunity to join a dynamic well established team who specialise in M&E across an array of sectors.
As M&E Quantity Surveyor / Site Surveyor you will be responsible for procurement, completing orders, generating invoices, preparing and reviewing estimates and cost management. You will be reporting directly to the Commercial Manager and will have a trainee to assist you with your day to day duties.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Preparation of bills and/or schedules of quantities of materials, labour and services required in the construction of building works in relation to both estimating and post contract duties.
- Cost Reporting.
- Producing internal and external commercial reports, whilst also engaging with stakeholders.
Requirements:
- This role is perfect for someone who has real ambition and can work in a fast-paced environment.
- A degree/equivalent qualification (HNC/HND/BSC Quantity Surveying or Building/Mechanical and electrical engineering)
- Experience in a Tier 1/large mechanical and electrical contractor. Background, ideally working within MEP/Building services
- Knowledge of NEC forms of contracts
