Electrician

Location: Bridgwater, Somerset

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: £37000 - £38000 per annum plus package

About the Role

My Client is looking for a skilled and experienced Electrician to join their dedicated team at a large facility in Bridgwater. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in electrical maintenance, testing, and repairs, ideally within a commercial or facilities environment.

As part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for: 

• Carrying out electrical safety checks and PAT testing
• Delivering both planned and reactive maintenance and repairs
• Supporting minor installation works
• Ensuring high standards of health and safety are maintained
• Complying with building statutory requirements and internal procedures

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a candidate with:

Experience in commercial or facilities maintenance (preferred but not essential)

Excellent awareness of health and safety regulations

Ability to carry out monitoring and inspection procedures as part of a preventative maintenance programme

Strong communication and customer service skills

IT literacy for record-keeping and documentation

Full UK driving licence

Physically fit to meet the demands of the role

Qualifications & Training

To succeed in this role, you should hold:

• City & Guilds 2330 Level 2/3 or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)
• 2391 Test & Inspection (desirable but not essential)

Full training will be provided for working in controlled areas of the site under C2 and C3 conditions.
