About the role

Reporting into the Payroll Manager, this position will see you working within an essential and growing division of the business. You will be responsible for supporting clients, all whilst carrying out the following:

Duties:

  • Perform end to end payroll using KeyPay
  • Process leave calculations including but not limited to: long service leave, maternity leave, parental leave and sick leave
  • Adhering to all client payroll related queries
  • Interpret complex EBA’s & Awards
  • Ensure all queries are managed in an appropriate manner
  • Liaising with several stakeholders within the internal & external business
  • Support other team members when necessary
  • Maintain client relationships as required

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role and level
  • Previous experience in an outsourced environment such as bookkeeping is highly desirable
  • Experience with either KeyPay, Employment Hero or Xero is essential
  • Proven experience in processing end to end payroll is essential
  • Ability to think independently to resolve queries
  • Prior experience in payroll problem solving
  • Proven experience in liaising with various stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and develop workplans to achieve deadlines
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
