We are hiring for our client, a prestigious top-tier law firm, seeking a Competition Solicitor to join their highly regarded team in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity for a solicitor with 1 to 4 years’ PQE to gain exposure to high-profile competition law matters, working alongside industry-leading legal professionals.

The Role:

  • Advising clients on all aspects of EU and Irish competition law, including merger control, regulatory compliance, and cartel investigations.
  • Assisting on competition litigation matters before Irish and EU courts.
  • Engaging with regulatory bodies such as the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) and European Commission.
  • Supporting clients with competition-related risk assessments and compliance strategies.
  • Collaborating closely with senior partners and key stakeholders on strategic competition matters.

The Person:

  • 1-4 years’ PQE with experience in competition law, ideally from a leading law firm or regulatory body.
  • Strong academic background in competition, EU, or commercial law.
  • A keen interest in regulatory frameworks, market investigations, and competition litigation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a commercial mindset.
  • Strong communication and drafting skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.
