My client is an engineering partner for major air and land transport industries. From its sites in Europe, the United States, Mexico, Morocco and India, the company takes responsibility for engineering projects on behalf of its clients and provides high value-added services on expertise activities. He is looking for a:
Role: Cabin Aircraft Mechanics
Location: Herborn, germany
Contract: Permanent
Main Responsibilities
- Checking the assembly function, surface and dimensional accuracy.
- Fold, bend and shape sheet metal blanks as required. Deburring and/or chamfering edges, corners and recesses according to drawings. Aligning workpieces and assemblies according to drawings, joining (soldering) and/or welding individual parts
- You Process accompanying documents (e.g. checklists) according to specified test steps
- Direct reporting of production faults (defective tools, equipment, systems or missing material) to the direct supervisor
- Confirmation of completed production steps. Confirm work processes and record overtime if necessary
- Visually check whether upstream and own work processes have been carried out
- Participation in the improvement process, participation in daily management activities (e.g. QRQC /5S) and completion/completion of daily management documents and lists
- Adherence to the planned and communicated completion dates
Requirements
- Fold, bend and shape sheet metal blanks as required
- Edges, corners and recesses
- Deburr and/or chamfer according to drawing
- Work pieces and assemblies according to drawings
- Assembly, joining, gluing, general welding,
- Align, connect individual parts (solder) and/or allow to be welded
- Grinding, decorating, milling, crimping, punching
- Bening
Qualifications
- Many years of experience in the role as Aircraft Mechanic
- European passport
- Knowledge of English
- Knowledge of German is a plus
