My client is an engineering partner for major air and land transport industries. From its sites in Europe, the United States, Mexico, Morocco and India, the company takes responsibility for engineering projects on behalf of its clients and provides high value-added services on expertise activities. He is looking for a:
 

Role: Production Scheduler
Location: Herborn
Contract: Permanent

 

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

  • Manage the portfolio of forecast production orders (short and long term)
  • Ensuring load/capacity adequacy and load smoothing in collaboration with RUAP, Team Leader and Scheduler
  • Guarantee production cycles

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Manage and update the production load-capacity and associated actions (smoothing, resources).
  • Validate load-capacity parameters with team leaders.
  • Carry out production load smoothing.
  • Manage the conversion of planned orders into production orders.
  • Monitor the production lead/lag in relation to the planned lead/lag at the Weekly Production Meeting.
  • Integrate the Heads of Version's specific requirements into the schedule.
  • Define production cycles according to planning
  • Participate in MRP CHECK meetings in collaboration with the SUPPLY and METHODS department.
  • Lead the Weekly Production Meeting in conjunction with the scheduler, team leader and UAP manager.
  • Participate in monthly S&OP and GDD meetings.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the planning department (weekly planner meetings).

 

SKILLS

  • In-depth knowledge of SAP
  • Knowledge of cabling manufacturing processes and cabling methods
  • Compliance with environmental procedures applicable to the role
