Wiring Specialist Fitter (BBBH15875) Munich, Germany

My client is an engineering partner for major air and land transport industries. From its sites in Europe, the United States, Mexico, Morocco and India, the company takes responsibility for engineering projects on behalf of its clients and provides high value-added services on expertise activities.
He is looking for a:
 

Role: Wiring Specialist Fitter
Location: Munich - Germany
Contract:  Permanent

 

Main Responsibilities

  • To apply the content of the work plans in compliance with the state of the art and Quality requirements.
  • To carry out electrical wiring assembly, connection, and modification operations in accordance with production procedures.
  • To read and understand the work plans and execute the requested work on A/C.
  • To understand and comply with the quality reference documentation and know how to interpret it at work.
  • To ensure traceability of the work in the various appropriate documents.
  • To use measurement devices to carry out certain work and/or inspection tasks.
  • To use the manual tools {ratchets, crimping tool, heater, etc.) provided for executing the work and check the valid date, taking care to return them in working order at the end of the assignment.
  • To provide daily feedback to superiors on the progress of the work.
  • To comply with HSE {wearing of PPE, waste sorting, work depending upon the electrical status of the A/C or area, etc.), 5S and FOD instructions.
  • To ensure that the aircraft area is free of all. foreign objects (Ty-Raps, tools, etc.).
  • To actively participate in improvement processes.
  • To transmit his or her know-how to new arrivals.
  • To report any observed malfunctions (missing items, non-conformities whether or not his or her own fault, etc.).
  • To know and apply the Quality and HSE policies and objectives at his or her position level.

 

Requirements

  • Understanding of customer service.
  • Knowledge of the aerospace/rail sector or electrical wiring activities.
  • To have a strong work ethic (Guarantee one's work).
  • To be willing to work in a team and independently.
  • To understand Health, Safety, and Environment instructions.
  • Technical English (reading and comprehension)

 

Qualifications

  • CAP (certificate of professional aptitude)/BEP (vocational training certificate) degree in Electrical Engineering and/or 1 to 3 years' experience.
