Personal Injury Locum

Our client, a well-regarded private practice firm in Bristol is seeking to hire a Personal Injury Locum lawyer to join them as soon as possible. You would be to joining their Serious and Catastrophic Claimant Personal Injury team which is featured in the Legal 500. The team which is based in Bristol handle cases which involve brain, spinal, polytrauma and amputation injuries as well as fatality claims however this role locum post would mostly be dealing with RTA claims.

A combination of office and home working will be required (1-2 days in the office).

Duties will include: 

• Managing a caseload of Multi Track cases;
• Complying fully with agreed service standards;
• Communicating effectively with individuals and insurer clients;
• Attending and participating in weekly meetings;
• Attendance at networking events and business development;
• Dealing with administration and any other duties as required.

Experience:

The successful candidate will be the Lead lawyer on a caseload of high-value catastrophic injury claims. Significant previous experience of dealing with serious injury claims and the rehabilitation code is essential. You must be experienced and knowledgeable in all aspects of litigation, particularly in the Multi Track.

This role will be offered on an hourly temp contract basis Inside IR35. You will need to be able to attend the office in Bristol at least once or twice a week. The role is likely to last 3 months possibly longer.
