Senior Automation Engineer - Green Hydrogen (gn) (JN -112024-51124) Vienna, Austria
My client is seeking a dynamic Senior Automation Engineer to support their entry into the P2X market. In this role you will be responsible to design hardware and software concepts for their green hydrogen and renewable fuel solutions.
They are looking for a professional with wealthy experience in automation hardware and software system engineering.
- Develop innovative automation hardware and software concepts for our plant solutions
- Define the requirements for the automation equipment
- Align and jointly review interfaces to the process equipment and MES applications
- Participating HAZOP and LOPA studiesĀ
- Take care about cyber security requirements and solutions
- Work closely with project management and disciplines such as piping, layout, static and rotating equipment and electrical disciplines both in the proposal and engineering phase
- Be the interface to the automation hardware and software engineers
- Lead hardware and software FATs and SATs
- Be part of the commissioning, start-up, and optimization team
- Degree level qualification in an automation or process engineering discipline
- Minimum five years of experience in automation hardware and software design
- Experience with different industry control systems, Siemens PCS7 system and programming experience is a plus
- Knowledge about substation systems, experience with protocols like IEC61850 is a plus
- Ability to consult with customers and suppliers about technical design requirements is expected
- Explain design solutions in an engaging manner
- Strong communication, analytical and planning skills
- Solution/team/customer oriented with the confidence to act pro-actively
- Fluent in English. Another European language is an advantage
- Willingness to travel for at least 5 days per month
