Salary and Benefits

Overview of the Role
You will support those that are in temporary & permanent accommodation to sustain their tenancy. This will be achieved by liaising with the Housing Support Workers within your team to make sure that the service users are claiming the correct benefits, are paying their rent on time, and are keeping their properties clean. Your goal is to deliver person centred support to service users, enabling them to secure suitable accommodation and to meet their immediate needs, enabling them to live a more sustainable and fulfilling life.

Key Responsibilities
Provide emotional support, advice, and respond appropriately to chaotic, challenging behaviour, and Anti-Social Behaviour
Help maintain tenancy
Provide a responsive intensive housing management service
Liaise with line manager regarding referrals, voids, and vacant properties
Support with personal budgeting, debt management, and claims for welfare benefits
Ensure the rent arrears policies are administered
