Head of Cyber Security – IT Governance – Central London

Head of Information Security and Cyber required for our leading Financial Services client based in Central London. You will be responsible for owning and developing the information security policy to ensure the management and reduction of cyber and information security risks. You will act as a senior point of contact and SME for internal and external stakeholders including regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities of the role

  • Support and manage security processes across IT and the wider business
  • Own and drive our client’s information security and cyber agenda ensuring regulatory adherence
  • Act as a senior point of contact and translate complex conversations into non-technical information suitable for a wide audience
  • Development of a new team while influencing the development of other teams with information security and cyber responsibilities.

Key Skills of the role

  • Strong working knowledge of enterprise technology aligned to security standards – i.e. ISO27001, PCI DSS, NIST+
  • Solid understanding of cyber intelligence/intelligence network experience
  • Experience of different approaches to working with varied stakeholders – internal, external and regulatory
  • Ability to communicate your ideas succinctly and challenge where necessary
  • Clear written and verbal communication

Our client is ideally looking to pay between £100,000 to £120,000 for this position with possible flexibility plus an excellent benefits package including bonus, share options, private medical, life assurance, pension and season ticket loan.
