CONTRACTS MANAGER

We are recruiting an experienced contracts manager to join a market leader in steel fabrications Hull. This is a Permanent Vacancy with great opportunities to progress, offering a payrate of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

 

Shift pattern / Working hours

Monday to Friday 8am – 4:30pm  

40 hour working week

 

Start date / Duration

The Contracts Manager role is a Permanent position that will commence with immediate effect however, should you have a notice period with your current employer, we will work around this.

 

Job description

As a The Contracts Manager you will be expected to manage all aspects of steel fabrication contracts including contract administration, project planning, and budget management. Day to day you will be expect to;

  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project delivery according to specifications and timelines.
  • Prepare project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates for steel fabrication projects.
  • Monitor project progress, quality control, and safety compliance.
  • Resolve issues, manage change orders, and ensure contract compliance.
  • Prepare and submit project progress reports to senior management and clients.

 

The successful candidate:

To be considered for the position of Contracts Manager you must have;

  • Proven experience in steel fabrication project management and contract administration.
  • Strong knowledge of steel fabrication processes, materials, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Steel project management: 3 years (preferred)
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Driving Licence (preferred)
  • CSCS card for site visits (preferred)

 

What’s in it for you?

  • Pay rate - £40,000 - £45,000
  • Overtime – paid at Time + 1/3 after 40 hours / Sundays at Double Time / Bank Holidays at Double time plus a day in lieu
