Production operative

 

Working in partnership with an EMI-Award Winning company located in HU14 to carry out the duties of operating the vacuum forming and trays production lines, inspecting manufacture material and maintaining housekeeping to the required standing. This is a fantastic opportunity that offers ongoing work with training opportunities, paid at an incredible £12.31 to £16.17 per hour with overtime available paid at premium rates.

 

 

 

Shift pattern / Working hours

Monday to Friday, rotating

Shifts Patterns:  06:00 – 14:30 / 14:30 – 23:00 rotating

Overtime after 37.5 hrs. First 6 hours are paid at a time and a quarter, after 6 hours you’ll be paid at time and a half.

 

Start date / Duration

Production Operative positions will commence with immediate effect however, if you do have a notice period with your current employer, we will work around that. This is part-time role with the a duration of 3 weeks.

 

Job description

  • Required to run to the requirements of the relevant schedules and to carry out line adjustments as necessary to ensure consistent products that is within specification and budget performance.
  • To correctly record and use materials.
  • To ensure correct stock accuracy.
  • To carry out all inspection to the relevant schedules, to comply with specifications.
  • To be responsible of the completion of all relevant documentation, to comply with ISO standards.
  • To work to Health & Safety procedures and report near misses.
  • To continually improve housekeeping standards, to meet GMP.
  • Working on the Vac forming machines
