We are recruiting an experienced Heating Engineer in oil to join a highly rated manufacturing company based in Hull. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity with a starting pay rate of £30,000 - £40,000 PA DOE

The Heating Engineer role is a Permanent contract that will commence with immediate effect however, if you do have a notice period with your current employer, we will work around that.

 

Job description

As a Heating Engineer you will be responsible for providing technical support, product care and maintenance. We are looking for an Oil Heating Service Engineer to cover the area of Hull and surrounding areas on a permanent basis.

 

·        Servicing all types of oil fired heating appliances, including domestic boilers and cookers, commercial warm air heaters, travelling to and from as per needs.

·        All associated documentation to be completed with care and ensure that it is completed correctly

·        Fault Diagnostics on all types of oil fired heating appliances and systems.

·        Responsible for dealing with customers ensuring excellent customer service at all times

 

The successful candidate:

To be considered for the position of Heating Engineer you MUST;

·        Have your own car/motorbike due to locations

·        Previous background in working with Oil based Heating systems preferred or experience with LPG/Gas or similar types of heating systems

·        To be OFTEC qualified – not essential.

·        Strong understanding of quality control processes and attention to detail

·        A good professional manner when dealing with customers

·        Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
