Removals Driver Class 1

We are recruiting an experienced Removals Driver Class 1 to join a highly rated removal company based in Hull. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity with a starting pay rate of £39,000 - £40,000 PA DOE

Shift pattern / Working hours

The hours for Removals Driver Class 1 are:

Monday to Friday 7am – 5pm (need to be flexible encase job over runs)

The Removals Driver Class 1 role is a Permanent contract that will commence with immediate effect however, if you do have a notice period with your current employer, we will work around that.

Job description

As a Removals Driver Class 1 you will be responsible for providing removal services of residential and commercial moves in the area of Hull, York and surrounding areas on a permanent basis.

·        Heavy labouring, removing larges items

·        Driving HGV to surrounding areas

·        Packing Vans

·        Wrapping items  

·        Carefully moving items around

The successful candidate:

To be considered for the position of Removals Driver Class 1 you MUST;

·        Have your own car/motorbike

·        Previous background in working with HGV’s

·        Be able to lift heavy items daily

·         Be flexible, as may be waiting around and jobs finishing late

·        A good professional manner when dealing with customers

·        Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
