MULTI SKILLED OPERATIVE

We are recruiting an experienced Multi Skilled Caravan Operative to join a highly rated caravan company based in the heart of HULL. This is a fantastic opportunity that offers permanent placements with a starting pay rate of £15.50ph with any overtime on a Friday at time and a quarter . Main focus of snagging, furnishing and erecting – with a minimum of 2 years’ experience

Monday to Thursday

7 am – 5:30pm

The Multi Skilled Caravan Operative role is a Temp to Perm contract that will commence with immediate effect however, if you do have a notice period with your current employer, we will work around that.

Job description

As a Multi Skilled Caravan Operative you will be responsible for the manufacturing of Caravans

Your duties will include;

·       Refurbish and maintain caravans

·       Main focus will be erecting caravans, furnishing and snagging, must have a minimum of 2 years caravan experience in this

·       Depending on the candidate you could be asked to learn on roofing and plumbing

·       Working to product specifications to produce various product types

·       Operating numerous different machines and tools which will involve heavy lifting

·       Interacting in morning meetings whereby the days duties will be discussed and further training provided on individual tasks 

·       Working at all times with a great attention to detail

·       Working within all Health and Safety regulations at all times

·       Ensuring work spaces are clean and tidy

The successful candidate:

To be considered for the position of Multi Skilled Caravan Operative you MUST;

·       Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of erecting, furnishing and snagging in caravans

·       Be physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg

·       Be willing to learn new skills and duties quickly

·       Have a positive, can-do attitude to work and show the willingness to learn and progress

·       Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
