Steel welder Fabricators

Working in partnership with a Steel manufacturer in Hull, we are recruiting a reliable, hardworking Steel welder Fabricators. This is a fantastic opportunity that offering a fantastic pay rate (£15) and overtime paid at even better premium rates.

Shift pattern / Working hours

Monday – Friday  8am – 5pm with an earlier finish on Friday- plenty of optional overtime available

Start date / Duration

The Steel  welder Fabricators role is Temp to Perm position that will commence with immediate effect however, should you have a notice period with your current employer, we will work around this.

Job description

We require experienced Structural Steel Fabricator Welders who have a positive can-do attitude to work in our busy workshop. The successful applicants must have experience in:

·       Working with Mild steel and aluminium in an engineering build setting

·       Have experience in fabricating Structural & Module Steel and capable of working unsupervised from CAD drawings.

·       Must be capable of TIG AND MIG welding to a good standard.

·       Be a team player and be able to thrive under pressure

·       To work as part of the fabrication team, fabricating and welding section and sheet steel.

·       Working to drawings and orders ensuring correct manufacture

·       Be conversant in welding and fabrication equipment - along with the use of production machinery normally found within fabrication workshops

·       To be able to work both independently as well as part of a team

The successful candidate:

To be considered for the position of Steel welder Fabricators you must;

·       2 years MIG welding experience.

·       TIG WELDING 4 years’ experience

·       5 years fabricating experience.

·       Driving license due to some site work

·       Have an engineering background
