Working in partnership with a fish manufacturer based in Hull, we are recruiting for 3 reliable, hardworking Production operative and Fish Filleters to work in the HU3 area. These are permanent positions.
We are recruiting for 3 different positions, production operative days, production operative nights and a fish filleter.
To be considered for the production operative and Fish Filleters in HU3 you must be able to work either of the following:
Shift pattern / Working hours
- Monday to Friday
- 8am – 5pm
- Basic rate £12
OR
- Monday to Friday
- 6pm – 3am
- Basic rate £13
Fish filleter
- Monday to Friday
- 5am or 6am to 2pm or 3pm
- Paid by box rather than salary
Start date / Duration
The production operative and fish filleters positions are permanent roles. This will commence with immediate effect, however, should you have a notice period with your current employer, we will work around this.
Job description
As a Production operative you will be responsible for packing food and adhering to Food health and safety regulations. Waste segregation preparation, having a flexible attitude and a willingness to work are essential.
Day to day you will be expected to;
- Working on a line
- Feeding food produce into trays
- Packing sealed packs into boxes and palletising
- Clean as you go work area

The successful candidate:
To be considered for the position of Food production packer you must;
- Ideally have some Fish production experience,
- Demonstrate working in a singular role
- Happy to work in a food environment
- Happy to complete basic food hygiene training
