Role Mission:
- The Assistant Shopper Marketing Manager position is responsible for best-in-class shopper marketing, activation, and category management for North Asia travel retail. The role must collaborate with both Brand Marketing and Commercial contacts to execute our strategic and channel objectives in alignment with the global brand plans
- The role will require a relentless focus on creating and deploying full 360 campaigns driven by shopper centricity to excite, engage and convert shoppers to purchase both in-store and online. He/she will also support the premiumization across multiple touchpoints to ensure the continual elevation of brand execution and shopper experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Shopper Marketing Strategy:
- Support the development of the annual customer marketing plan from the global brand plans to drive growth with key customers
- Partner our agencies, customers and internal teams to deliver the activation, visibility, and promotional plans. Ensure tactical activations and long-term permanent visibility objectives are executed brilliantly, with a focus on key strategic locations and premiumization
- Manage and execute brand campaigns, product launches, digital/social strategies and consumer events in line with brand guidelines to ensure overall brand’s objectives are achieved
- Partner with the Digital Marketing Manager to implement brand digital strategy across retailers’ e-commerce sites, retailers’ social, digital media platforms and drive online conversion leveraging the most updated/relevant platforms and digital tools
- Build best-in-class partnerships with customers, team members, and domestic market contacts
- Review activation tools for effectiveness and work with the Brand Marketing team to enhance or improve engagement and impact
- Category analysis to report on performance (depletions) vs the category to understand performance
- Support the development of insight-driven and category growth-led customer propositions
- Budget Management:
- Support the budgeting, tracking, and implementation of the spends
- Review activation and promotional effectiveness and recommend actions to improve performance as required (ROI)
- Others:
- Maintain a good understanding of competitor activity, review and analyze industry data to improve targeting and performance, including passenger data, IWSR, and other industry data
- Coordinate the organization of trade shows and other industry-related events in the North Asia region
Key Requirements:
- 2+ years of trade/customer/shopper/consumer marketing experience
- Good business acumen, analytical and organization skills
- Good interpersonal and collaborative skills
