Our international client based in Felling Gateshead are looking for a Global Product Data Analyst who will contribute to the performance of the team through product data analytical activities which provide efficient management and maintenance of product data in their SAP system.
The Global Product Data Analyst will provide first line support for daily product data creation, correction and maintenance in MDG and SAP, and direct liaison with the Masterdata and SAP service in GBS. You will drive the business improvement by working with key users in other functions pro-actively to provide support, solutions and improve efficiency for implementation of product data to supply MPY products on time in full.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver key multi functional support for product data in the MPY BU used in MDG/SAP. This would allow key functions such as COS, Supply, PM and RD&I to contact this role as a BU based expert for support and effective solving of SAP/MDG issues related to product data
- Contribute to specific product data entries and creations and support IT ticket submission to GBS master data and SAP IT
- Directly laise with Masterdata teams and SAP support teams via IT ticket process provided by GBS using the approprotate tools to create, edit and maintain product master data
- Reset, review and maintain governance process for product data approvals in MDG and SAP
- Lead global analytical activities to check proactively product data quality
- Support the Product Introduction Form (PIF) process with key product data activities in MDG and SAP
- Support the product banner deletion process with key product data activities in MDG and SAP
Skills required:
The Global Product Data Analyst will be a self-starter, have excellent communication skills to influence across a broad network of the organisation. Proven project management and analytical skills. Ability to prioritise incoming request based on business urgency
- Expert in SAP as ERP system, key knowledge on how to use, manage data entry and approval processes
- Extensive experience working in data analysis environment
- Experience in the chemical industry is an advantage
