Ergo is a leading technology solutions provider. We are the 2024 Microsoft Ireland Country Partner & the 2024 Dynamics 365 Sales & Customer Insights Partner of the Year. Our Digital Practice specializes in Microsoft Business Applications, including Dynamics 365 & Power Platform. We are seeking a senior Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team of over 50 professionals within the Digital Practice. As a Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant, the selected candidate will be implementing complex & impactful solutions for many household names in the private & public sector.  This role can be based in the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and the United Kingdom.

Detailed below are the core skills & responsibilities required for this role.  

 

Consulting Skills:  

  • Comfortable interacting with key business stakeholders across varying departments & industries.   
  • The ability to build trusted & long-term relationships with key Ergo customers. 
  • Effective collaboration skills which can be used when interacting with customers & delivery team members (Solution Architects, etc). 

Business Analysis Skills: 

  • Comfortable leading customer workshops on complex technical & business focussed topics. 
  • The ability to engage with customers during all project phases to understand, elicit & document detailed business requirements. 
  • The ability to produce clear & well-presented documentation & user stories which can be easily interpreted by business users & as well as project delivery teams.  
  • Experience reviewing & documenting As-Is & To-Be business processes. 
  • The ability to analyse/document existing system functionality & review/provide input into functional & technical specifications. 
  • The ability to support development teams during implementation phases to clarify requirements & to assist in the successful delivery of impactful applications.  
  • The ability to support Quality Assurance teams to successfully complete all testing phases & the release of quality applications to end users. 

Dynamics 365 Skills: 

  • Expert knowledge of core web-based Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement modules (e.g. Sales) & associated platform functionality. 
  • In depth understanding as to how the Dynamics 365 product can be leveraged to deliver customer requirements in a supported & robust way. 
  • Comfortable demoing Dynamics 365 functionality, providing feature support to business users & delivering training post the release of new functionality.

Power Platform Skills: 

Hands on experience with the following functionality: 

  • Power Apps. 
  • Power Automate. 
  • Core Power Platform components (e.g. Business Rules, Processes).  
  • Security (e.g. Security Roles, Field Level Security). 

Azure DevOps Skills: 

  • Experience working with DevOps for capturing, updating & managing Features, User Stories & Tasks.  

Education, Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant across all phases of multiple software projects. 
  • Hands on experience delivering at least 2 core Dynamics 365 CE products (e.g. Sales / Customer Service / Customer Insights – Journeys / Project Operations).  
  • Collaborative by nature with strong interpersonal skills & the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Good English communication, both verbal & written. 
  • Team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. 

 

Optional but highly desirable skills: 

  • Consulting experience.  
  • Possess a degree in a Computing discipline or equivalent. 
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g. MB-220 / MB-230 / PL-200).
