SDDC Implementation Engineer (BBBH2666) Dublin, Republic of Ireland
VMware Partner of the Year, Ergo, is seeking an experienced Senior IT Implementation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, and support of VMware SDDC and Dell HCI infrastructure solutions.
You will join a rapidly expanding team working with industry SMEs and some of the best Hybrid Cloud techies in Ireland.

What will you do?
- Implementation of IT systems and solutions based on business requirements and according to vendor best practice. This can be as part of a greenfield and/or brownfield deployment
- Configuring and deploying VMware Cloud Foundation, VMware vSphere, vSAN, Aria Operations, NSX networking and security solutions as part of a greenfield and/or brownfield deployment
- Configuring and deploying of Dell Technologies VxRail solutions as part of a greenfield and/or brownfield deployment
- Ability to implement based on HLD or LLD documentation provided
- May be required to contribute/shadow producing documentation such as high-level and low-level customer-facing design documents based on pre-existing templates and under the direction of Solution Architect ultimately responsible for the document delivery.
- Contributor to Technical Design Workshops supporting Solution Architects and/or Project Technical Leads where necessary
- Support the Pre-Sales Solution Architects with technical SME contribution on pre-sales opportunities on an occasional basis
- Provide technical support for VMware SDDC and Dell HCI technology by analysing and resolving issues.
- Produce, Execute and document tests as part of test and acceptance with clients as well as knowledge transfer when required.
What do you need?
- Previous experience in a similar role implementing Hybrid Cloud solutions
- Proficiency in configuring and deploying VMware SDDC and Dell HCI solutions
- Client-facing experience
- Extensive vSphere and vSAN experience
- VCF Operations (formerly Aria/vRealize Suite) experience
- VMware Cloud Foundation and NSX experience highly desirable
- VxRail or VCF on VxRail experience a distinct advantage
- Professional certifications in VMware / Dell such VCP-DCV, VCP-NV, VxRail
