MoD PHARMACY TECHNICIAN JOBS
DIVERSIFY YOUR SKILLS ON A MILITARY BASE

This unique and challenging Pharmacy Technician job in South East locations will build on your current knowledge and diversify your skills in new environment on a military base.
 
Based in bases across the South East, you will be within easy travelling distance of London, Surrey and Kent.

Working on a military base as part of the large Ministry Of Defence contract, you will assist the Principle Pharmacist and as in the civilian sector, your main roles will be dispensing medication, giving pharmaceutical advice and providing logistical support by ordering and looking after medical supplies.

For this job candidates will require previous experience as Pharmacy Technician with NVQ level 3, have the ability to work with stock control procedures and be computer literate. Previous military or MOD experience is desirable, but not essential.

Further job duties and responsibilities will include;

· The post holder will ensure appropriate stocks are maintained in their clinical area reporting any shortfall to their line manager
· The post holder will actively participate in clinical supervision in line with policies
· Dispense all prescriptions received by the pharmacy department
· Ensure a safe delivery of prescribed prescriptions to individual patients on the wing, by visiting each wing on a daily basis.
