About The Client:
They are a specialist Underwriter, serving third-party capacity alongside their very own Syndicate. They are a young, dynamic company, unburdened by legacy systems, and they are harnessing cutting-edge technology to transform their offerings.
The Role:
Join a close-knit team of data professionals and technologists. They are all about ensuring that every scrap of data from clients and partners finds its way into their platform.
You'll dive into every corner of the company, grasping their data needs and beginning the journey to turn it into valuable insights. If you're a curious, engaged pro who thrives in a rapidly evolving environment, this role is tailor-made for you.
Expect to communicate with external partners, engage with clients, participate in product demos, and become a product expert. Reconciliation across risk, claim, and premium datasets is all in a day's work.
They believe in automation – you'll collaborate closely with tech experts to identify tasks that can be automated, freeing you up for more exciting challenges.
Skillset / Background:
While they don't expect you to be an expert in everything, here's what they value:
- Experience in reviewing and processing risk/claim/premium bordereaux
- Excel wizardry
- Handling Lloyd's Binding Authorities
- Dealing with risk reports
- Liaising with underwriters and clients
- BI Product experience (Looker, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Familiarity with DA SATs/DDM/IRIS
- Start-up enthusiasm
- Knowledge of Lloyd's and Company market practices
- Experience with IMR/Xchanging
